OPEN features some of Canada's finest young jazz musicians on a set of original jazz tunes composed by Ian.  OPEN won the 2006 music PEI awards for "Jazz Recording o the Year" and "Instrumental Recording of the Year".  It was nominated for "Jazz Recrding of the Year" at the 2007 East Coast Music Awards.
